Here are some key recommendations and notes:
When printing the slide lock, I recommend using the Cool/Smooth Plate. If you use the Textured Plate, the slider’s sole may turn out slightly thicker than intended, making it harder to slide smoothly.
You will still need to apply a small amount of instant glue to attach the handle and guard, but be careful not to use too much, as it could accidentally glue the slider in place as well. Trust me, I’ve learned this the hard way!
The holes for locking the tail and handle are printed without any support, so they may not come out perfectly smooth. This could make it difficult to insert the filament. I suggest using a 1.5mm Hex Key to clean out the holes before assembly.
The folding diameter for the rubber ring is 60 mm.
As for the handle, it is printed with support, and I’ve made numerous adjustments to improve the rhombic holes. However, they are still not perfect.
