This model demonstrates how an Archimedean spiral converts rotational movement into a constant linear motion. Here, 120° of rotation equals 18 mm of movement.
Turning the spiral disk to the next notch on the outer edge will move the sliders inward by one measurement line.
Before assembling, loosen the snap hooks by pressing them until they click. Then, install all sliders in the outward position, align the iris, and push down to secure it.
